2: Goals of the Jepara Sailing Club
JSC GOALS
The Jeparadise Sailing Club creates a lot of maritime activities that are healthy for body and soul.
It is called Y.O.U.R.S.
1. YOUTH
The club considers the Youth as the future and we therefore invested in a White and red
(Merah-Putih) Optimist for the training of the younger generation.
2. OVER SEAS ACTIVITIES
Visiting Yachtsmen from other clubs will be lodged at the clubhouse in Jepara while members of the JSC are encouraged to participate in other clubs activities such as the Regatta’s from Tanjung Lesung Sailing club (TLSC)
The JSC has a Laser in top condition at the TL Sailing Club for members only.
3. UTILITY
The JSC has a permanent fibre workshop for repairs of the keels and rudders after hitting the beach or coral at full speed.
4. RACING.
JSC promotes racing as often as possible as racing is the best way to learn how to go fast.
5. SEMINARS
JSC’s activities include seminars on negotiations in bahasa Indonesia with local fisherman while capsized and floating towards the horizon when the sun is going down.
